V Magazine (Spring 2011)
Things We Forget
Things We Forget keep me smiling constantly. They write/draw little rules on post-it notes to remind us all of things we must do. They have produced these cute posters to put up in your room so you can constantly remember the little things in life.
BAPE Girls
I’m not a huge BAPE fan, but after viewing their new ladies collection, it has to be said that I aprove! Peep the 2011 Spring/Summer Lookbook here.
Free Mixtape!
Free music is the only music I listen to. Click here to download a free mixtape from Hellz Bellz. Crank it up! xx
Room 23
Room 23 is a photography book by Diana Jenkins, photographed by Deborah Anderson. Proceeds of the book go to The International Human Rights Project. The images portray a year in the life of a Beverly Hills hotel penthouse suite, featuring 100 big name celebrities. I adore the images in this book, and what a good cause!!
Turner Prize Result 2010
About an hour ago the results of The Turner Prize 2010 was announced. What a fucking farce! The winner is Susan Philipsz, a Scottish artist who works with sound. She is the first sound artist to win the Turner Prize. Philipsz’s room in this year’s Turner prize exhibition at Tate Britain consisted of her recorded voice singing the 16th-century traditional Scottish song, “Lowlands Away”.
I’m not saying Philipsz doesn’t deserve to win, but there are so many more people who should have won. For example, Angela de la Cruz, who was one of the 3 runner-ups. A Spanish artist who suffered a brain haemorrhage. While in a coma for several months, she gave birth to her daughter. Her recovery has been slow and is unlikely to be complete. Her works show her struggle through her beautiful, destroyed canvases. Her work is deep while at the same time showing a strong sense of humour, as she calls her works “Paintings behaving badly”.
So. There we go. The winner was annouced. That’s it for another year. Ridiculous.

MOB Holiday 2010 Collection:
Everyone knows I’m a MOB fan. I wear their clothes as much as humanly possible, so as soon as I hear that they have dropped their new collection I’m a happy lady. Peep the collection below, then buy it here. Oh, and buy me some while you’re at it.
China Glaze Vintage Vixen
I haven’t had new nail polish for a while, but after a trip to Sally’s I saw this little pack for £4. Ok, sure, why not! I haven’t sen many collections by China Glaze, but this is adorable. The bottles are a little smaller than normal, which makes them ideal for your purse. The colours are really deep, and only need one coat, plus the paint is super quick drying. I’m a happy China Glaze convert! Here’s a couple images:
Katy Perry for O.P.I.
After the success of Barry M’s Cracked Nail Effect, it seems everyone is jumping on the bandwagon:

1938 Guide to Dating…
Conor Ghilarducci
It’s a Monday morning, which means I am automatically un-inspired and slightly pissed off. So, let’s start this week off with some crazy beautiful drawings by this guy. Enjoy!
Breast Cancer awareness on your Nails
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So O.P.I. has released a shimmery pink shade called Pink of Hearts 2010. This month O.P.I is donating $25,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. O.P.I. will also donate $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer. So how about going out and buying this colour, and show your support on your nails!
Well Hello (Kitty)!!
Amy Winehouse *hearts* Fred Perry
Amy is one of the few girls in the spotlight who reps Fred Perry like her life depends on it. And I love her for that. Fred Perry’s designs can be a little boy-heavy, which doesn’t make them easy for girls to look cute in. So Amy has taken it upon herself to design her own, super-girlie range for Fred Perry. I guess the girl is not just a talented singer! Peep the collection below.
